Korra and Team Avatar arrive in Ba Sing Se, the mighty Earth Kingdom capital. Upon touchdown in the Upper Ring they are given a crash course in how to please the very demanding Earth Queen. Korra intends to meet with her majesty in hopes of recruiting Ba Sing Se's Airbenders to help rebuild the Air Nomads, but the Queen is very hesitant. She is still upset that Earth Kingdom land was taken to create the United Republic.
However, she agrees to 'help' Korra if she goes and retrieves her tax money from a nearby vault. While attempting to stop Kai from stealing from people, Mako and Bolin wind up trapped in the Lower Ring where they end up meeting their father's family for the first time. Meanwhile, Tonraq and Zuko meet with Eska and Desna in the Northern Water Tribe.
The Legend Of Korra Season 2
They plan to prevent Zaheer from releasing his girlfriend from captivity and completing his criminal gang. Korra, Tenzin, and Team Avatar board Asami's new airship and head to the Earth Kingdom. There they hope to recruit some of the world's new Airbenders in hope of rebuilding the Air Nomads after almost 200 years. However, their plans do not go as smoothly as they hope, with most people unwillingly to uproot their lives. Meanwhile, the dangerous criminal Zaheer begins assembling his team of other criminals from around the world; something that draws the attention of former Fire Lord Zuko. Two weeks have passed since Harmonic Convergence. Although Korra has reunited the physical and spirit worlds, her decision has unexpected consequences.
The spirit vines that appeared in the city will not disappear and spirits have started living in them. Korra must think of a way to restore Republic City while facing criticism from President Raiko and the press. At the same time, Bumi and other individuals have suddenly gained the ability to Airbend.
Meanwhile, White Lotus sentries confront a dangerous criminal who manages to escape. Unalaq and Vaatu, now combined as the Dark Avatar arrive in Republic City and begin to cause chaos in the city. President Raiko has the United Forces attack the giant spirit, but to no avail.
After finding Jinora, Tenzin, Kya, and Bumi return to the south pole to find Korra, Mako, and Bolin injured from Unavaatu's power. They retreat to the Spirit World where Kya heals them.
