Firstly, I LOVE this program and thanks for making it free, but its a non-issue if we could pay for improvements, a fair few of us would! Others have mentioned better tab options and I totally agree.
Also, nesting. NESTING!PLEASE!How can you expect people to print/cut these out using your page sizes (A4, A3 etc) when the nesting is all out to hell with even the simplest & smallest models? Here are the main improvements needed to take on Pepakura (also cos I'm a Mac guy - you can approach the mac universe properly with a fully-working program that would rival them). 1) Better tabs. Give options for tab thickness (width and/or length) to allow for easier construction. The only one that would work with any kind of paper media would be jigsaw type or laced if we could get the lacing all the way along the edges.

2) Better auto construct - i.e. Divides up 3D objects for folded paper without 100000 errors and expecting us to rotate, click on ADD and DELETE cuts with the MOST random or outcomes.
I have spent 5 hours trying to get a deer head and antlers to work but it simply won't. No matter how much I adjust the vertex count. 3) Exporting with layers so it can easily be cut, creased and worked with. The sides are coloured but if there is an error, the effected side has a different colour, this would mean - to have it laser cut, I would have to export it to EPS DXF and manually adjust the colour of potentially 1000's of lines to get the colour coded layers to work properly. The software works well, nothing to say so far. But I would have a request. Perhaps stupid, but why can not apply also to '3D Slices' in 'Construction techniques' the possibility of having the tools of 'Radial Slices' and / or 'Interlocked Slices'?

Printable parts could be obtained with 3D printers that can be assembled together and with a blunt contour, not edgy, more faithful to the original object. I'm thinking about the puzzles that will have more faithful and 'soft' finish to the original non-sliced object. Hi, here a few things that I would like to see improved: First would be nice to have the program integrated in to fusion and have the interface more like it is in fusion. Then The model should be imported in its original size, and then it could be rezized may be a grid would help for scaling. So the 'original size' button should not be there.
